What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa yoga is the primary method/school of yoga that I teach. You can do it easily and effortlessly at your own pace to create more flexibility, strength and endurance. Vinyasa is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. The word Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement." In other words, you will be instructed to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become a dance. If you have been sedentary, begin with Level I classes. If you have been active choose Level I and/or Levels I & II classes. If you have been good to your body and are in tip-top shape choose Level I, Level II or Level I & II classes.
